Paul Elder is an accomplished financial leader and strategist with a proven track record of driving organizational growth, streamlining operations, and enhancing profitability across diverse industries. With extensive experience in executive leadership, financial management, and accounting, Paul has consistently delivered results by leveraging his deep expertise in strategic planning, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency. His mission is to help as many small business owners have growing and more profitable businesses by helping them build consistent positive cashflow strategies.
He has served in senior finance roles of companies ranging in size from a $2 million employee benefits organization to his last full time roll as Vice President of Finance and Accounting overseeing the financial operations of a privately-held $680 million enterprise of cookware distribution, indoor and outdoor kitchen appliance manufacturing and distribution, real estate purchases, rentals, and sales. Paul delivered transformative solutions that improved closing times, optimized cash flow, and enhanced financial visibility across all the business units. He played a key role in deploying systems such as Netsuite ERP, Netsuite Planning and Budgeting, and IBM Workspace Analytics, resulting in significant operational cost savings and the creation of new revenue opportunities.
His holistic understanding of finance is underpinned by an MBA in Finance from St. Mary’s College of California, and a BS degree in Business Management from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where he competed in Division 1 football as an offensive lineman and deep snapper. He was a Scholar-Athlete-of-the-year recipient in his final year in college.
Away from work, Paul loves spending time with his wife, Chamaine. He has a son Austin living in Los Angeles, CA. He is an avid wine lover and has grown a strong affinity for high-end tequilas. He has a chocolate lab named Mocha that keeps him busy as well.
